# **Team Management**

**A team** is a structure that groups users who work together toward a shared task or responsibility within the organization. Teams let you manage users in an orderly way. From the **Team Management** screen you can create, view, edit, delete and export your teams.

- To reach the Team Management screen, follow **Organization Structure > Teams** from the left menu.
- This screen lists all teams defined in the system. The team list shows basic information for each team, such as **Team Name, Description, Department**.
- You can customize the columns shown in the team list to suit your needs. To do so, click the **Column manager** section and toggle the columns you want to display on or off.

## **Adding a Team**

**Add Team** is the screen that lets you group users who work together for a specific purpose or business process under the same team.

- To create a new team, follow **Organization Structure > Teams** from the left menu.
- On the Teams page, click the **Add** button to open the team creation screen.

On the screen that opens, enter the basic information for the team you are creating. You can fill in the following fields:

- **Team Name:** Enter the name of the team you are creating.
- **Department:** Select the department the team will belong to.
- **Description:** Add descriptive information about the team.

Once you have entered the required information, click the **Save** button to create the new team. After saving, the team you created appears in the **Teams** list.

## **Editing a Team**

**Edit Team** is the screen where you can update the details of teams you created earlier and remove teams you no longer need. This screen lets you keep your organization structure up to date and track your teams easily.

- To edit an existing team, follow **Organization Structure > Teams** from the left menu.
- Find the team you want to update in the team list. Click the **three-dot** icon at the far right of the row and select **Edit** from the menu that opens.

On the edit screen you can view the team's current details and update them as needed. You can edit the following on this screen:

- Team Name
- Department it belongs to
- Description

Once you have made the required changes, click the **Save** button to save your updates to the system.

## **Deleting a Team**

To remove a team that is no longer used, find its row in the **Teams** list and click the **three-dot** icon at the far right. From the menu that opens, select **Delete** to remove the team from the system.

***Note:**Before deleting a team, check the status of the users and records linked to it. This helps you avoid possible disruptions in your organization structure.*

## **Exporting the Team List**

You can export your team list by clicking the **Download** icon at the top of the screen in **Excel, CSV, PDF, XML** or **JSON** format.
