Sound Library

Sound Library is the screen where you manage the audio files in use. Announcements, hold music and IVR greeting audio are stored in this area. You can also listen to audio recordings, add new recordings, download existing ones, use them as announcements or delete recordings you no longer need. 

• To open the Sound Library screen, follow PBX Settings > Advanced Setup > Sound Library in the left menu.
• All audio files uploaded to the system are listed on this screen. The Sound Library list shows information for each audio recording, such as Name, Hold Music, Voice Recording.
• You can customize the columns shown in the Sound Library list to suit your needs. To do so, click Column Manager and enable or disable the columns you want to display. 

Uploading an Audio Recording 

This is the screen you use when you want to add a new audio file to your PBX. On this page you can both import your existing audio files into the system and create new audio with AI support. 

• PBX Settings > Advanced Setup > Sound Library menu to open the Sound Library page. Click the Add button at the top right. On the screen that opens, you can choose how you want to create your audio recording. 

Audio Creation Methods 

The system offers three different options for creating an audio recording: 

1. Upload Audio File 

You can import a WAV or MP3 audio file that is already on your computer directly into the system. Click the Upload Audio File button and select your file. 

2. Vocalize Text 

With this option you can automatically convert the text you write into audio. Enter the name you want to give your recording in the voice name field, and the content you want to be vocalized in the text field. To make your text flow better, use the Improve Text with AI button. 

3. Vocalize Text with AI 

Choose this method for a more natural, human-like audio output. After selecting the AI voice you want, enter the voice name. In the voice settings section you can customize parameters such as speed, determination and similarity, and you can also reach the AI audio recordings you created earlier through the history. 

ℹ️ Points to Note 

• The text you enter is vocalized by the TTS (Text-to-Speech) engine and added to your sound library.
• Words written entirely in capital letters are treated as abbreviations by the system and read out letter by letter. For this reason, avoid unnecessary use of capital letters.
• Use punctuation correctly; this makes the vocalization sound more like natural speech.
• Enter at most 500 characters in the text field. 

Exporting the Sound Library 

You can export your sound library list by clicking the Download icon at the top of the screen in Excel, CSV, PDF, XML or JSON format. 

Other Actions 

Click the three-dot icon on the right of each audio recording in the Sound Library list to perform various actions on that recording. 

• Create Announcement: Create a new announcement using the selected audio recording.
• Download: Download the audio file to your computer.
• Delete: Remove an audio recording you no longer need from the system.
