Directory Lookup

Directory Lookup is the product that looks up the calling number in your directory on incoming calls and displays the customer's first and last name on your extension phone. Your agent can see who is calling before answering the call.

What the Product Provides

• The number on the incoming call is looked up in your directory.
• If the number is registered in your directory, the customer's first and last name is displayed on the extension phone's screen.

When It Is Used

• When you want the agent to greet the caller by name while answering the call.
• When you want to distinguish known customers from new callers before the call is answered.

Getting the Product

• You can reach the product catalog by following the Marketplace step in the left menu.
• Select the Directory Lookup product to open the product detail page.
• Click the Add to Cart button to add the product to your cart and complete the payment steps.

Note: For the name information to be displayed, the calling number must be registered in your directory. You can manage your directory records from the Contacts screen.
