Inbound Call Rules

Inbound Call Rules is the screen where you define the destination to which calls arriving over an external line are routed. On this screen you can associate your phone numbers with time conditions so that incoming calls are automatically routed to an extension, a call queue, an IVR menu or other destinations. You can also view, create, edit, delete and export existing rules.

  • To open the Inbound Call Rules page, follow PBX Settings > Advanced Setup > Inbound Call Rules in the left menu.
  • You can customize the columns shown in the Inbound Call Rules list to suit your needs. To do so, click Column Manager and enable or disable the columns you want to display.

  • Caller Tag: Set a tag so that you can easily identify the rule.
  • Inbound Number: Select the phone number the rule applies to.
  • Forwarding Target: Set the extension, call queue, IVR or other destination to which incoming calls are routed.
  • Advanced: Number Manipulation: Apply transformations to the number before the call is routed. Leave this field empty for default behavior.
