Time Condition Management
Time Condition Management is the screen that routes incoming calls with different scenarios according to the day, hour and date rules you define. From this screen you can create and manage call rules for working hours, out-of-hours forwarding, public holidays and special days.
- To reach the Time Conditions screen, follow PBX Settings > Advanced Setup > Time Conditions from the left menu.
- On this screen you can view your time groups and the time settings linked to them, create new records, and edit, copy or delete existing ones.
Time Groups
Time Groups are used to define specific day and hour ranges.
For example;
- Weekdays 09.00 – 18.00
- Weekend
- Public Holidays
By grouping working times like these, you can use them in different call scenarios.
To create a new time group, click the New Group button at the top of the screen.
Fill in the following information in the window that opens:
- Group Name
- Month Range
- Day Range
- Week Days
- Hour Ranges
Once you have entered the required information, click the Save button to create the time group.
Time Settings
Time Settings let you associate the time groups you created with IVR menus, inbound lines or different call scenarios.
For example;
- routing the call to a call queue during working hours,
- routing to voicemail outside working hours,
- running a different IVR menu on public holidays
You can build scenarios like these from this section.
To create a new time setting, click the New Setting button at the top of the screen.
Fill in the following information in the window that opens:
- Setting Name
- Time Group
- Inside Specified Time
- Outside Specified Time
Once you have entered the required information, click the Save button to create the time setting.
- When creating a new time setting, you can use the AI Time Assistant feature to build time conditions easily. For example; by writing a phrase such as Route calls to the queue on weekdays between 09.00–18.00, and route to voicemail outside those hours you can generate your time conditions automatically. With this feature, instead of defining complex time scenarios manually, you can configure them faster and more easily using artificial intelligence.
Other Operations
The Time Groups and Time Settings you create are listed as cards on the screen. From each card you can perform various operations for the related time group or time setting.
Using the icons on the card, you can do the following:
- Copy: Copy an existing time group or time setting to build a similar configuration quickly.
- Edit: Update the details of a time group or time setting you created.
- Delete: Remove a time group or time setting that is no longer used from the system.
