Flow Designer
The Flow Designer lets you build the greeting scenarios, IVR menus and call routing logic of your call center or PBX with drag and drop. You can build your flow step by step by dragging every setting you need (inbound call, extension, announcement, queue and so on) onto the canvas.
- Follow PBX Settings > Flow Designer in the left menu to reach this page. When the screen opens, you can see the flow of the PBX that is currently live.
- When you click an existing node, you can edit or delete it.
- Click the + icon to drag components such as Inbound Call, Extension, Announcement, Queue, IVR Menu and Time Condition into your flow. After filling in the properties of each component you add in the window that opens, all you have to do is click the Save button.
Creating a New Scenario
- To create a different call flow, click the New scenario button at the top of the screen.
- In the window that opens, use the Blank scenario option to build your flow from scratch, or continue by choosing one of the ready-made templates.
The ready-made scenarios you can use are:
- Basic IVR
- Call center
- After hours routing
- Inbound → Extension
- Simple queue
- Announcement + queue
- Full scenario
- Inbound → Hang up
- External forward
- Extension + forward
- Full IVR (all targets)
Once you have chosen your template, the drag and drop design canvas opens. Use the settings on the right side of the screen to add the components you need to the flow and build your call scenario.
Building a Flow with the AI Assistant
You can make use of the AI Assistant while building your flow. All you have to do is describe the call flow you want to create and your requirements to the AI Assistant. Based on the information you give, the AI starts building your call flow.
Save and Apply the Scenario
Once you have finished editing the scenario, click the Save button. Before taking the scenario you saved live, you can check it with the Dry-run button. When the test tells you the flow works, click the Apply to live PBX button to start using the scenario you built on your live PBX.
